Hey everyone! I have an HP Pavilion PC that I've had for a while but haven't really kept up with the details about computer parts. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm open to suggestions on any potential options as my budget is flexible. However, I've heard HP's custom motherboards can be restrictive, and I'm unsure about my power supply specs since I can only guess based on what I found online. Here are the details of my current setup:
- **PC Model**: HP Pavilion Gaming R5 1650 Super, 8GB/256GB Gaming Desktop Tower
- **RAM**: Crucial 2x8GB DDR4-3200 UDIMM
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 3500
- **Current GPU**: NVIDIA GTX 1650 SUPER
- **Estimated Motherboard**: HP OEM X570 (socket AM4)
- **Estimated PSU**: ~400 W PSU
I'd really appreciate any advice! Also, if it turns out that buying a whole new PC would be easier and cheaper than upgrading, I'm all ears for that too.

Hey! I think a 12GB RTX 3060 would be a great choice for you, especially if you're gaming at 1080p! It offers solid performance for that resolution without breaking the bank.

That sounds promising! Do you think it's worth the upgrade to a 3060 Ti though? Would the performance jump really justify the extra cost?
