I'm new to this community, so I hope I'm posting in the right place! I'm currently learning Unity by creating my own projects and only looking up solutions when I need them, rather than following tutorials. I'm wondering if this method is effective or if there's anything I should change about my approach.

Keep doing what you're doing! Tutorials might limit your creativity since they often just show you how to copy something without understanding it fully. By figuring things out yourself, you'll learn more and gain valuable problem-solving skills along the way. Plus, your knowledge will go beyond just the outcomes of the tutorials!
I totally agree with you! That's how I learned too. Tutorials are more about understanding the tools available, but building your own projects will really strengthen your skills. Just focus on implementing your ideas, and you'll develop a much better grasp of Unity.
You're on the right track! Tutorials can teach you the basics, but working on your own projects is where the real learning happens. You're tackling problem-solving directly, which is great. Just keep at it!
Some people might say you're just looking for validation, but honestly, this is how you're supposed to learn. Embrace it!
Looks like someone's just after a pat on the back!

Are you suggesting that I should still try tutorials sometimes, or stick with my original approach?
