I recently installed a Sapphire Nitro Plus 9070 XT in my PC, and I noticed there's only a 1.8cm gap between the GPU and the PSU cover. I'm worried if this tight space could cause harm to my system. My GPU temperatures are running between 75-85°C. Should I be concerned about this setup affecting my PSU or overall performance?

A 1.8cm gap shouldn't be too problematic, assuming the PSU is set up right with its fan drawing air from below and exhausting out the back. Just keep an eye on your temps, and if things start getting too hot, you might need to consider better airflow or tweaks in your setup.
I'd suggest being cautious, though. I had a similar situation with an RX 5700 XT in a small case, and it overheated despite having good airflow from two 140mm fans. 1.8cm isn't a lot of room for the GPU to draw cool air, so just watch for any signs of overheating.
Was your GPU often hitting high temps? That's what I'm worried about!
Your GPU is designed to pull air through its own fans, so the proximity to the PSU shouldn’t directly affect it. Ideally, the PSU fan should be oriented downward for fresh air intake. Even if it's pointing up, the air should mix in a way that shouldn’t cause overheating just because the PSU is nearby.
