Hey folks! It's been a while since I upgraded my computer, and now that tax refund season is upon us here in Sweden, I'm thinking of treating myself to a new build. I've recently been diving into Rust, but the game doesn't run smoothly on my old setup, which is from 2019. I really want to avoid those annoying lag spikes during firefights!
I plan on reusing my current SSD, a 512GB NVMe Samsung, as well as a 6TB HDD. I believe as long as the motherboard has a SATA connection, I should be good to go. My budget is around 15,000 to 20,000 SEK, which is about 1,600 to 2,200 USD. It would be great to get some advice to help clarify things as I start this build process.

Check this build out: [https://se.pcpartpicker.com/list/8FvLkD](https://se.pcpartpicker.com/list/8FvLkD). It features a solid 1440p 180Hz gaming monitor, although it goes slightly over your budget by about 1000 SEK. Still, it's a great setup!
Definitely! As long as the motherboard is compatible, using your old SSD should work without any issues.

I just bought a new screen myself, so I can remove that from the cost. Do you think I can still incorporate my old SSD into this build?
