Why Does My File Explorer Open Randomly, Showing My External Hard Drive?

I've been experiencing a frustrating issue where Windows File Explorer unexpectedly opens, displaying my external hard drive. This happens about 3-4 times a week, often when I'm not even using my computer—like just now when I was watching YouTube on my phone and noticed it pop up while my PC was idling. I've run multiple malware scans with no results, and it feels unusual for malware behavior. I was also thinking it could be related to the external hard drive itself possibly failing, but I haven't received any notifications about it disconnecting or reconnecting. Besides this odd Explorer behavior, everything else seems normal. I'm curious if anyone knows why this might be happening or if they have experienced something similar.
