First Time PC Build Recommendations Needed

I'm planning my first PC build and want to get some suggestions. I currently have a 1080p monitor and I'm aiming for parts that support DDR5 technology, all while sticking to a budget of around £1,200. Here's a quick breakdown of the parts I have in mind so far: I'm looking at the AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor, a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE for cooling, a Gigabyte B650M motherboard, and 32GB of Klevv DDR5 RAM. For storage, I have my eye on a 1TB TEAMGROUP NVME SSD and a Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card. The case I'm considering is the Phanteks XT PRO, and I'll need a 650W power supply to round it out. Prices total around £1,178. Any thoughts or improvements?

I took a look at your build and I think you should really consider upgrading your motherboard and CPU for just an extra £20. It'll be worth it in the long run! Check out this [updated list](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/9RQjXf).

Thanks for the suggestion! I see that it's £50 extra on my end, but it might be worth it.

You could save some cash by switching to a single tower cooler from Thermalright like the Assassin X 120 Refined SE or the ID-COOLING A410 SE. However, the Peerless Assassin 120 SE is great as well! One big recommendation is to grab an extra fan or two for your Phanteks case since it only comes with one. Those M25G2-150 fans are pretty affordable at about £7 each, and they can really help with airflow.

Thanks for that! Do you think it’s worth considering a different case with more/better stock fans instead, even if it costs a bit more?
