I'm having a problem with my Acer Nitro V15 laptop. After experimenting with different Linux distributions, specifically Pop!_OS, my boot order got messed up. Now, I can't find Windows in the boot options in BIOS, though it's still on my second drive. This is a problem for me since I have important files on that drive and I need to use some software that won't work on my current distro, Fedora.

One easy fix you can try is unplugging your main drive. A lot of laptops will automatically look for a Windows loader if they don't detect any bootable drive. This can sometimes help put Windows back in the boot order if it’s been accidentally removed from the EFI options.

How do I unplug the drive?
