How Can I Fit Programming Practice into My Busy Schedule?

I'm currently preparing for a tough exam while also juggling work commitments. My mornings are consumed by work and afternoons by studying, leaving little to no time for additional courses, including programming. I'm learning web development with a focus on Javascript and Node.js, but my ultimate goal is to transition into cybersecurity. Any tips on how I can practice programming effectively with a packed schedule would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like programming isn’t at the top of your list at the moment, which is totally understandable. It might be worth considering programming as a hobby until you’re done with school and your exams.

Programming is all about practice, not just theory. Since time is tight, try doing quick coding exercises in small chunks—like spending 10 to 20 minutes solving a problem each day. It's about consistency rather than long study sessions!

You really can’t get better at programming without putting in some consistent practice. If you can, try to carve out half an hour to an hour each day just for coding. Even short daily sessions can make a difference over time!

Honestly, there’s no shortcut to acquiring skills. You need to find some time for it, even if it means cutting back on something else. Right now, working and preparing for your exams are your top priorities.
