How can I delete private photos from Google Lens?

Hey everyone! I have a question about managing private photos that I found using Google Lens. When I searched for these images, I was prompted with a message saying that they've been shared with Google. I know there are suggestions for deleting Google activity related to these searches, but I'm really concerned that this might just delete the history on my device and not actually remove those photos from Google's servers.

So, I'm wondering:
- Are there any reliable methods to verify or completely delete these private photos from Google's storage?
- If it's not possible to fully delete them, what steps can I take to minimize the visibility or keep them private?

Thanks for your help!

In my experience, if the images are not under your direct control (like shared publicly or through someone else's account), they might still be around. Use Google's support pages to navigate removal requests, and remember to manage your privacy settings. It's not perfect, but it's the best way to add a layer of security!

To delete private photos from Google Lens, you'll need to understand that deleting activity history might not fully remove them from Google's servers. You can submit a removal request through Google's legal troubleshooter, but for personal images, if they weren't shared, they're likely not stored permanently. If you're especially concerned, your best bet is to delete the activity and also use any requested feature on Google's support page to clarify your needs regarding photo privacy.

It's a bit tricky. Deleting activity history only affects what's on your account and typically doesn't mean those images vanish from Google's servers if they were indeed shared. You could try contacting Google directly for a specific removal request, but be aware that there's no guarantee they would comply. As for other protections, regularly checking your privacy settings is a good practice!
