I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where my Windows 11 system keeps changing the order and primary display settings every time I reboot. I've got a 5080 setup connected to three displays: a monitor via DisplayPort, an LG G5 through HDMI, and a Y70 display also using DisplayPort. The TV is hooked up to a receiver, which goes into standby when the TV is turned off. When I power on my PC, it randomly sets the primary display to the Y70 instead of my selected monitor. I really need a solution to make Windows remember the display positions and primary settings even after I turn everything off and on. Can anyone help me with this? It's quite a hassle resetting everything each time I restart my PC, even though the setup usually holds fine until I shut down. I've tried rearranging the DisplayPorts, which helped with the BIOS order, but Windows is still acting up.

I think if all three displays are powered on and active when you boot up, Windows should remember their positions. If any of the displays are turned off, it may revert to the settings for just the active displays. So make sure your TV and other displays are on when you start your PC. That might help!
Yeah, I understand that! I really want Windows to remember the positions regardless of whether the displays are off or on.

I often turn my TV off too, and I’ve noticed it resets sometimes. It’s really annoying! I wish there was a better fix for remembering positions even when they're off.
