Why Isn’t My Monitor Detecting My PC After Changing Cases?

I recently switched the case of my PC, and now my monitor won't detect it at all. I've tried connecting multiple monitors, but none of them recognize my PC. What's strange is that instead of the usual setup with two port sets (one for the graphics card and one for the motherboard), I only have one set of two HDMI ports. I'm worried I might not be connecting to the right port. Can anyone help me figure this out? Just for reference, my case is a Lian Li Compact 011, but I can't share pictures here.

You might want to check your BIOS settings, if you can get access. Depending on your motherboard, there might be settings that affect the display output. If you're using the integrated graphics on the motherboard, make sure that's enabled in the BIOS if you’re planning to use it separately from the GPU.

I can't access the BIOS right now, but I'll give it a shot once I can! Thanks for the tip!

It sounds like there might be a problem with how your graphics card is seated or possibly a connection issue. First, double-check that your graphics card is properly installed in the PCIe slot. If the card isn't in all the way, it can cause detection issues. Also, verify that your monitor is set to the correct input—try toggling between HDMI options just in case!

If you're still having trouble, it might be worth trying a different HDMI cable too. Sometimes the cable itself can cause detection issues.
