Hey folks! I just built a new computer and I'm noticing that it's really sluggish. I've checked a lot of things, and the hard drive seems to be the main culprit—it's a 7.2k 6gbps SAS drive. When I ran CrystalDiskMark, I got around 170MB/s for both read and write speeds. Is this drive defective? For reference, I'm using a Dell T7610 with dual Xeon 10-core CPUs and 512GB of RAM, and I'm running Windows.

170MB/s isn't terrible for certain file sizes, but it might be a bit low for what you’d expect. Generally, speeds around 200MB/s are more common. Just to clarify, is this your system drive? Also, if you want to share a screenshot of your CrystalDiskMark results, that could help diagnose further!
If your hard drive is slow, I recommend upgrading to a faster one—ideally, you should consider getting a good quality SSD. It will make a noticeable difference in performance!
The issue might actually be with your RAM. If it's 1866MHz DDR3, it won’t perform like more modern memory. That could be contributing to the overall sluggishness you’re experiencing.
That could be it! I’m used to working with newer hardware, so everything feels a bit off.

Here's a link to my results: https://imgur.com/a/HYMpggu. I noticed many results showing speeds above 3000, which seems way off for what I'm getting!
