I've recently upgraded my graphics card from a 1660 Super to a 5060, hoping to improve my gaming experience with titles like Insomniac's Spider-Man 2. My setup includes a B450M A Pro Max 2 motherboard, Ryzen 7 5700 CPU, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Despite having both the game and monitor set to 165Hz and 1080p with medium graphics settings, I'm still experiencing stuttering and rendering issues. It doesn't seem to be a CPU or GPU bottleneck, and I'm concerned that I might have wasted nearly $400 with this upgrade. What should I do?

When you mention ‘not rendering fully or on the right time’, could you give more context on that?
Your GPU seems fine; there may be other issues at play. Have you considered enabling Vsync or Gsync? That can help with screen tearing and stuttering.
Should I enable that in the game settings or through the PC/monitor settings?
Make sure you're using the HDMI ports on the GPU. Sometimes using the wrong ports can cause issues too.
Yes, I'm using the HDMI ports.
Did you reinstall the drivers for the new GPU? That’s usually the first thing to check after an upgrade. It could solve a lot of issues!
I did install new drivers for the 5060.
Your RAM might be hitting its limits. I play Cyberpunk 2077 with 16GB, and when usage spikes to around 13-14GB, I notice stuttering too. Upgrading your RAM could help if you’re consistently maxing it out.
So just upgrade RAM?

For example, during game cutscenes, the audio continues while the visuals freeze momentarily. Characters may glitch, disappearing and reappearing.
