I've been having major issues with my GPU crashing ever since I updated the drivers through the NVIDIA app. I own a 3070, and during the update, my whole PC crashed and wouldn't turn back on until I unplugged everything and switched off the PSU for a few minutes. After that, I faced repeated crashes while gaming and even on the desktop. I tried downgrading to driver version 591, which helped a bit but crashes still happen occasionally. My monitor just goes black, showing 'no video signal.' I'm wondering if the driver update may have damaged my GPU or if there's something else going on. I have a 650 Gold+ PSU from Fractal and didn't experience issues before this update. Any ideas or solutions?

First off, do you have integrated graphics on your CPU? If you do, try unplugging your GPU and booting up using the integrated graphics to see if it helps. From there, get Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to install a clean version of your drivers. Once that’s done, plug your GPU back in and download the latest driver directly from the NVIDIA website. Make sure to disable Windows auto driver updates to prevent issues in the future. If you don't have integrated graphics, switching to an HDMI cable if you were previously using DisplayPort might help too. If these steps don’t solve the issue, you might need to file a complaint and wait for NVIDIA's support.

I actually have a similar setup, and I had to stop using DisplayPort for a while because it was causing similar issues. Switched to HDMI and it seemed to fix it for me!
