Looking for Advice on Building My First Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I just landed a job and I'm really excited to build my first gaming PC. Right now, I'm stuck with a mini PC that's been okay, but it's not cutting it for the games I want to play. I don't have much experience with PC building—just the basics—but I'm eager to learn. My budget is around 1000 Euros, and I'm curious if that's enough to put together a decent gaming rig that can handle modern titles like Resident Evil, Dead by Daylight, and Baldur's Gate. Would 1000 Euros do the trick, or should I be prepared to spend a bit more? I'd like to keep it under 2000 Euros if possible. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

For a solid gaming PC that can handle those games, 1000 Euros is a reasonable budget, but it might feel tight for higher-end components. I recommend checking out parts on sale or looking for bundles. For your CPU, something like the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 would be perfect. A decent GPU is essential too, maybe consider getting a last-gen model if you can find one at a good price. I can drop a sample part list if you want to see how everything fits together!

I'd love to see a part list! It's super helpful to visualize how it all comes together.

Buying used components is a great way to stretch your budget! Look for secondhand parts for your case, CPU, and even your GPU. Just be sure to buy from trusted sellers. For the power supply, always opt for new—it's crucial for system stability. Don’t skimp on RAM; go for DDR4 for better compatibility and price. Also, a solid SSD will make a big difference in load times!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely consider looking for used parts and keeping RAM and SSD in mind.
