I'm a complete newbie looking to dive into Linux because I'm tired of all the bloatware on Windows and want to get more into online stuff. I primarily use a gaming laptop with an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti, and I'm curious whether I should go for Linux Mint or Pop!_OS for gaming. Any advice?

If you're unsure, try running Linux from a USB first before committing. It can help you see how everything works without making permanent changes. YouTube has plenty of videos on troubleshooting common issues for each distro, which can be super helpful!
Honestly, I’d recommend sticking with Mint or something else, but I’d steer clear of Pop!_OS right now since it has some issues. The gaming experience can be hit or miss depending on your GPU.
What kind of issues are we talking about? I thought Pop!_OS had built-in support for Nvidia drivers which could save me time.

Got it, I’ll check it out! But I guess figuring out hardware issues can be a pain later on, huh?
