Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB of DDR4 RAM running at 3600MHz, and I have a GTX 1080. I just bought a 1440p 180Hz monitor, and I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. I enjoy playing story-driven games at around 60 FPS, but I also play competitive titles like Call of Duty and Apex Legends. I've found an Intel Arc B580 for about £210 but might be able to negotiate down to £190-200. Alternatively, there's also a 5060 Ti with 16GB for around £370. Given my needs, which GPU do you think would offer better value?

I actually have a 12GB RTX 3060 for sale if you’re interested. It's a solid alternative if you're looking for something in between the two options.
If you can get the B580 down to £190, I say go for it! It competes pretty well with the 5060 Ti, although the latter is the stronger card. After Intel's driver updates, the B580 holds its ground decently, making it a solid choice for its price point.
I'd recommend looking into the 5060 Ti. It’s a great card for 1440p gaming and, despite the price, it offers great longevity. I've had mine overclocked, and it actually outperforms the 4070 by about 5-10 FPS. It's definitely worth considering if you want solid performance for years to come.
But is it really worth the extra cash over the B580? I see it’s around 40% better performance at the top end but nearly double the price!

That's exactly my thinking too. Paying 70% more for only a 40% increase in performance feels off for a budget-minded gamer like me.
