I'm looking for recommendations on a Linux distribution to use with my Lenovo V15 G4 ABP 83CR. It's important to me that the experience is very cohesive and comprehensive, with a UI and apps that are consistent and distinct from Windows or Mac. Additionally, the logo should be simple enough to blend well with those systems. I'm planning to eventually switch to a MacBook Neo, so I want something popular. If possible, I'd prefer it to be immutable or atomic as well.

Ubuntu could be a great fit for you. You can select the UI you prefer — Plasma is stable, but I personally lean towards Cinnamon. Plus, it's quite popular, so you'll find plenty of support.
I'd suggest not going for any of the niche or specialized distributions. Stick with the popular ones since they tend to be more reliable, better supported, and have a larger community. Specialized distros might not offer any real advantages and can come with bugs due to their limited development resources.
Definitely check out Ubuntu or Linux Mint. Both have different desktop environments, so you can pick one that suits your style and install it. Just remember to back up your data before jumping in!
For a hassle-free experience right out of the box, Fedora Silver Blue is a solid option. It's designed with an immutable approach, which aligns perfectly with your desire for consistency. You can find more information about it in their official documentation.

I second the Fedora Silver Blue recommendation! It has a sleek interface and is great for those looking for a polished experience.
