I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC crashing when I play games, specifically League of Legends. Here are my specs: I have a CPU with a 9700x (not tuned), a GPU that's an RX 9070 xt (also not tuned), and 32GB of DDR5 RAM set to expo persistent. While I'm just browsing or using other programs like Signal RGB, fan control, and AMD software, everything's fine, but as soon as I get into a game, my PC freezes and suddenly reboots without any warnings or errors. I'm looking for advice on where to start diagnosing this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First, I'd recommend using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to fully remove your AMD drivers, followed by a fresh installation. If that doesn't solve the issue, try reinstalling any game that causes crashes.
Did you remove the plastic from the CPU cooler? Sometimes people forget to take that off, which can cause overheating.
There are a few things you should check:
1. What’s the make, model, and wattage of your PSU?
2. Plug your components into PC Part Picker to ensure your system isn't drawing too much power.
3. Look in the BIOS to see if auto-overclocking for the CPU is enabled, as that can cause instability.
4. Monitor your system's temperatures while gaming; overheating could be a factor.
Make sure your RAM is in slots 2 and 4. Also, some kits can fail if you run the memory controller in 1:1 mode. For example, aim for DDR5 6000 in 1:1 mode or 7600+ in 1:2 mode.
Have you tried running your RAM without the expo profile? Sometimes that can help.

My PSU is the MSI MAG A850GL 850W. I doubt wattage is the issue, and the OC should be disabled for the CPU, but I’ll confirm. My temps are good, never going above 65°C.
