I'm using Firefox ESR version 115.33.0 on a 2015 MacBook Pro with High Sierra 10.13.6. Recently, Google has started displaying an annoying banner on every page—like Gmail and Google Drive—telling me my browser is outdated and that I should upgrade. I already know my OS is deprecated and expect some compatibility issues down the line. What I really want to know is if there's any way to permanently remove or hide this persistent warning banner. I've tried blocking it with uBlock Origin, but it only works temporarily. Does anyone have a browser extension or advanced setting that can help me keep this message from coming back?

Honestly, the easiest way would be to just upgrade to a newer browser. I get that you want to stick to what you’re using, but the upgrades generally help prevent these annoying issues. If you’re fine with the nag, just hang in there! But if you want a remedy, I recommend keeping an eye out for browser settings that might let you disable those types of notifications often found in privacy settings. No guarantee, though.

I hear you on that. Sometimes, it feels like a hassle to switch everything over just because of a banner! If it gets too bothersome, you might just consider testing a different browser for specific tasks. It can sometimes provide a temporary fix.
