SOS: Help with AWS Lab Assignment Before Tomorrow!

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind with my lab assignment for AWS. My exam is tomorrow, and I need to complete several tasks including creating an S3 bucket to upload files, setting up a VPC, and launching an EC2 instance. Unfortunately, I missed some crucial classes, so I'm feeling a bit lost. To make things more challenging, I can't sign up for the AWS free tier since I don't have a credit or debit card. If anyone has about 10 minutes to spare and could guide me through this, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!

Honestly, you might be better off talking to your professor rather than waiting for help here. They usually have resources for students who missed classes. And who knows, they might even have a solution for you if you're worried about unexpected charges from AWS.

You can also use a local stack to do these tasks without needing AWS itself. It's a great workaround if you're short on time and resources!

There’s a ton of documentation available online for all the tasks you mentioned. If you're feeling up to it, give it a shot yourself! You won't mess anything up, and it'll likely take less time than you think to grasp the basics.

I get that you're feeling stressed, but remember it's okay if you don't nail the exam. It's all part of learning! Since you're in a hurry, try looking up AWS documentation or blog posts about these tasks; they are usually straightforward. Even without the account, you can study the steps! Plus, consider reaching out to your professor about your credit card situation; they might provide a lab environment for you to practice without any risk of being charged.
