Hey folks! I've got a concern. Is it possible for someone to install a spy app on my phone that allows them to read my messages or view my photos? This person had my phone for a while and claimed to have installed something to block commercials, but now I'm worried they might have accessed my personal stuff. Can a regular phone service help me find out if something suspicious is on my phone, or should I look for a hacker? Also, they changed a setting in my Private DNS. What does that mean? Yes, it's definitely possible they could have installed spy software on your device. If you're worried about it, a good starting point is to uninstall anything that they may have put on your phone.
What about the Private DNS they mentioned? Can they control my phone through that?
