Hey everyone! I'm not too knowledgeable about PCs, but I'm interested in upgrading mine. I've shared my current setup here: [link]. Just so you know, my GPU is actually a 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X, not a 3070, as I initially mentioned. I primarily play games like Rainbow Six, Smite 2, and Ark: Survival Evolved. I have a budget but I don't want to cut corners, so I'm open to spending a bit more if necessary. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, along with some explanations behind your suggestions. Thanks a ton!

Honestly, the Ryzen 3600 is your bottleneck right now. Upgrading to a newer AM4 CPU doesn't make sense long-term, so I'd advise saving up for a full AM5 setup instead. Your 2070 Super is good for 1080p, so focus on a more complete upgrade down the line!
If you're gaming at 1440p, it's worth considering your upgrade path. Your current setup should handle 1080p fine without issues, so you might not need to rush into an upgrade just yet.
You could look for a used CPU from the 5000 series, like the 5600X or 5800X, which might be a more affordable upgrade. Adding an extra 16GB of RAM (2x8GB) that's compatible with your existing setup could also boost your performance significantly.

How would getting more RAM help my system?
