I turned on my PC, and to my surprise, my D drive has vanished from File Explorer. I have a total of three drives: C is for Windows, D is the one that went missing, and E is working perfectly fine. All three are SSDs, and this is on a desktop. In Device Management, the D drive shows up as "Disk 0" with an unknown status. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated!

First, have you checked the logs for any relevant error messages? You can find information on that on Microsoft's site. Also, check if the BIOS picks up the drive normally; it probably does since you see it with an unknown status. If you have the SSD manufacturer's utility, run a SMART test. My guess is the SSD has failed, and you might need a replacement and a backup restoration, but confirm it first!
It sounds like your SSD's controller might have failed if it's showing up as unallocated and has no partitions. You could try using recovery tools, but if it won’t initialize or you’re getting I/O errors, it might be toast.
Chances are that the drive has failed. But to make sure it's not a connector or motherboard issue, try swapping the D and E drives. Alternatively, putting the D drive in a USB enclosure could help you access it from another system.
