Hey everyone! I'm about to dive into my first ever PC build after years of using prebuilt systems. I'm looking to create a gaming rig that can handle titles like Dota 2 and maybe some AAA games in the future. I've picked out some components but I'm unsure if I did a good job. Here's the list of parts I'm about to order:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core
- **CPU Cooler**: Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB 74.37 CFM
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ATX AM5
- **Memory**: Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2 NVME
- **Video Card**: PNY OC GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB
- **Case**: Fractal Design Meshify 3 RGB ATX
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A850GL 850 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular
- **Case Fan**: Corsair RS120 ARGB 3-Pack

Total cost is around £2766.39. I hope I selected parts that are compatible and easy to work with. Can anyone with more experience point out any mistakes or suggest improvements? Also, I haven't considered a monitor yet, any recommendations would be great!

I was in your shoes just last week, but I switched some parts. For my setup, I chose a case that came with extra fans, which saved me some cash. If you're looking to save a bit, consider that some components you picked, like the GPU, might be overkill depending on your gaming needs. Make sure you double-check the specs, especially for storage speed—PCIe 5 is great but might not be necessary for you.

Your build looks solid! You don’t necessarily need such a powerful PSU, but if you plan on future upgrades, going for a 1000W might give you more breathing room. Just make sure to pair this rig with a high-quality monitor to really appreciate that GPU! What monitor are you planning on using?

Everything seems good overall! Just a heads-up, the SSD you picked is quite high-end, and you could definitely save some money by opting for a less expensive option. This could give you about £100 or so back in your budget.
