I'm looking to upgrade my PC because it's becoming outdated. My roommate helped me build this rig back in 2020, and now it doesn't meet Windows 11's minimum requirements, which I've heard is important to upgrade to considering Windows 10 is being phased out. Also, I want to play some newer games like Expedition 33 and Subnautica 2, but my current setup only runs Elden Ring smoothly. I have a 1080p monitor and typically stream games to my smart TV, so I'm not too concerned about frame rates. I don't really have a set budget, but I'd like to keep it around $800 if possible. The only upgrade I've made since then is adding a 500GB SSD. Here's my existing parts list for reference.

You might be facing issues with Windows 11 due to the TPM settings on your motherboard. Make sure to check and enable TPM in the BIOS; it should support the upgrade without any major problems. Since you have a decent CPU, once you sort that out, you should be good to go for Windows 11 and run newer games!
If you really want to upgrade for gaming and Windows 11, I’d suggest getting a new CPU and GPU. Your current hardware can handle a lot, but something like the Ryzen 7 5700X and an RTX 4070 combo could set you up nicely. Just make sure to upgrade your PSU as well to support the new components, ideally to a 650-750W. You might end up spending about $400-500 total for those upgrades, but your RAM is already fine as is, so don’t waste money on that!
What cooler would you recommend for the Ryzen 7? I noticed it doesn't come with one.
You could get an aftermarket cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212, which is affordable and does a great job!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into the TPM settings ASAP.
