Everything is pretty much full stack these days. Just being good at React or CSS alone might not get you far. You may want to diversify your skills to include backend technologies and even some DevOps knowledge to keep your edge.
Web development is definitely not dead! However, the competition is fierce now since it's so easy to get started. Many basic projects that used to require a team are now manageable by just one developer. So, honing your skills beyond just the basics will help you stand out.
Web development isn't dead at all. Remember, web technology is essentially a type of UI development, and there's a lot of demand for that. AI can complement your work but isn't a replacement for skilled developers. Leverage AI tools to enhance your productivity, but focus on mastering solid frameworks and reusable code.
