I'm running into a problem where every time I try to visit YouTube, I get redirected to a site called "ww55.affinity.net." Luckily, my ProtonVPN is blocking it from going through, but I'm still trying to figure out what's going on. I suspect it might be some kind of malware since I visited a sketchy website filled with pop-ups and redirects about a week ago. I've checked my extensions, and there's nothing suspicious there, plus a Malwarebytes scan came back clean. I'm using Opera GX on Windows 11. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this?

It sounds like you've got a browser hijacker going on. You should look into ways to figure out what's causing it. If you're concerned they might have accessed your passwords or other sensitive data, consider changing your passwords right away.
Does this redirection issue happen in other browsers as well? You can test it out on Microsoft Edge or Chrome. If it’s only happening on Opera GX, that could point to a browser-specific issue.
You might want to run AdwCleaner, which is now part of Malwarebytes. It does a good job of scanning through browsers for any unwanted stuff that could be causing those redirects. Also, double-check your DNS settings just in case they've been changed without your knowledge.
