Can I Upgrade My 10-Year-Old PC or Is It Time for a New Build?

Hey everyone! I built my PC nearly a decade ago, and I've noticed it's really struggling with gaming these days. I usually play online PvP games like Valorant, Overwatch, and League of Legends, along with some story-driven games like Jedi Survivor and Red Dead Redemption. I'd love to know if there are any upgrades I can make to breathe new life into my setup for 2026, or if it's better to just start fresh. I've got two monitors, so I'm looking for solutions that can handle that too. Below is my current parts list for your reference. Thanks in advance! If I were in your shoes, I’d consider upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU and an AM4 motherboard. It would give you a solid boost in performance and could help with those games without breaking the bank.

That’s a great point! Plus, upgrading the GPU later down the line could also really help.

What kind of issues are you hitting with your current setup? It might help to know more about what's actually slowing you down.

I'm dealing with frame drops, a slow boot-up, and games crashing or running slowly.
