Hey everyone, I recently had my Microsoft account hacked, and after reaching out to support, they weren't able to recover it and ended up closing my account. This has really impacted me, especially since I've lost access to important things, particularly my Windows license. My PC is still logged into the old account, but some services like OneDrive are asking for a password I can't provide. I'm wondering several things: if I create a new Microsoft account, can I restore or transfer my Windows license? How can I reconnect features like Phone Link on my phone if they're tied to the old account? Is it safe to create a new account with the same email, considering it might still be compromised? Lastly, if the new account doesn't help, how can I switch my PC to a new account properly? I really appreciate any guidance on how to move forward without complicating things more!

If you create a new account, you might have a chance to link your Windows license again. You’ll need to log into the new account and go to the "activation" settings to see if it syncs. It's worth a shot!
Unfortunately, once Microsoft suspends an account due to hacking, there’s usually no way to recover it or transfer anything linked to it, including your Windows license. That access is permanently lost. So, if you create a new account, you might have to buy a new Windows license instead.

Does that work if I also want to connect Minecraft back? Any tips?
