I'm currently using Arch Linux, and a friend wants to switch to Linux as well. I need some recommendations for beginner-friendly and stable distributions he could try out. He is interested in Hyperland as a desktop environment, but I'm not sure what would work best for someone new to Linux.

If you're looking to start with something simple, definitely go for Linux Mint or Zorin with Cinnamon. They’re straightforward and user-friendly!
MX-Linux is another fantastic option, especially for newcomers. You can also try out various distros with a USB stick using Ventoy, which makes testing easy.
I would recommend Linux Mint. It's really user-friendly and perfect for beginners. Plus, it has a great community for support!
Zorin OS and Linux Mint are both excellent choices for beginners. They have familiar interfaces and good out-of-the-box support.
Debian with GNOME or KDE is solid too. It teaches you about Linux architecture and usually has good support.
