I experienced a strange issue with my laptop charger recently. My original charger stopped working, but I discovered that my phone and headphones charged fine using the same outlets. After buying a new charger, I noticed sparks flying out while it charged, which burned the connector and left a brown spot. I then tried the old charger again in a different outlet, and it sparked just like the new one. Both chargers still power my laptop, but one got stuck in the port, and there's even a funny smell coming from the charging area. Should I take my laptop to a repair shop for a checkup?

Your laptop is practically begging for help! Keep it unplugged and take both the chargers and the laptop to a professional. They can sort it out and give you a proper evaluation.
Absolutely, yes! Don't use that charger or laptop until it's fixed. It’s a no-brainer. Get it checked out ASAP!
Stop using that charging port immediately! Get it to a repair shop without delay. You don't want to risk a fire or other damage. Your insurance will not cover negligence if there’s evidence you ignored the warning signs!
Definitely investigate where the charger plugs in. Look for any shorted pins. If it looks suspicious at all, get it checked out to avoid potential fire hazards before it gets worse.

Good point about not using it! I would also suggest taking those chargers with you to the repair shop to give them a complete picture of what’s been happening.
