I'm torn between upgrading to an RTX 5070 Ti or stepping up to an RTX 5080. My budget can stretch to the 5080, but I'm concerned about possible CPU bottlenecking with my 5900X. I have an RTX 5080 myself and I can say it can drop below 60 FPS during intense scenes in games like Alan Wake 2, even with DLSS Performance mode. So, if budget isn’t a huge worry, definitely consider getting the 5080. Your 5900X is solid, but it might struggle with high demand games at ultra settings, especially if you're shooting for 100 FPS.
