I recently updated the BIOS on my Asrock X470 ITX motherboard to support a new 5900XT GPU, previously using a 5700X. After following the update instructions, I rebooted, but now my system just shows a black screen. It powers on for about 30 seconds, turns off for a minute, then powers on again, and this cycle keeps repeating. I've tried clearing the CMOS, booting with just one stick of RAM, and even holding down the power button, but nothing seems to work. Also, my motherboard doesn't seem to have the Flashback feature. Has anyone experienced something like this or have any tips?

What's the exact model of your motherboard? And how long did you let it try to boot after the update? Sometimes it takes a few reboots before it'll actually start working. Have you done a complete power off, like switching off the power supply and pressing the power button to drain all the power? Also, when you cleared the CMOS, was the power supply off or plugged out? Sometimes it won’t reset if there’s still power to the motherboard. Have you thought about reinstalling the 5700X to see if that helps?
If your board doesn’t have the Flashback feature, one option is to boot with an older CPU that the current BIOS supports, like a Ryzen 3000. After it successfully boots, you can then update the BIOS to one that supports both the 5900XT and 5700X. Maybe you could borrow an older Ryzen CPU from a friend? But keep in mind, if the motherboard is fully bricked, it might not recognize any CPU, even an older one, and you'd need another method to restore the BIOS.
