How can I reach out to someone at OpenJDK for an interview on Project Loom?

I'm working on a school research paper for the extended essay in the IBO Diploma Program, focusing on concurrency in Java. I'd love to interview someone involved in Project Loom, especially Mr. Ron Pressler. However, I'm struggling to find a way to get in touch with him. Would it be inappropriate to send an email to [email protected] to inquire about the possibility of an interview? I appreciate any guidance!

I’ve heard that making another post criticizing the Structured Concurrency preview could actually grab Ron’s attention—it's like sending up a bat signal! But seriously, an email is a good approach. Just be polite and specific in your request.

Good luck with your paper! If Ron doesn't respond, you might try posting a query in relevant spaces where you might catch someone’s eye who could help.

You can definitely reach out! Everyone affiliated with OpenJDK has a public email, which is usually their UID from the census plus '@openjdk.org'. It shouldn't be a problem to email Ron directly. If he can't respond, he may just ignore it. It's worth a shot!
