I've been having issues with my phone charging really slowly lately, and I'm concerned that something might be wrong. I've tried using a new charger and even bought another, but the problem persists. I've noticed that this slow charging starts happening after using a specific charger, and then other chargers don't work well anymore either. Here are my charging stats from today: I began charging at 11:34 AM with 49% battery, and it took nearly an hour to reach only 92%. The wattage fluctuates and doesn't go above 6W, even with a fast charger. Sometimes the wattage dips below zero! I can only reset it by unplugging and plugging it back in. I want to get it checked but can't afford repairs right now. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong or how I might fix this?

Could you tell us the make and model of your phone, and how old it is? That might help us figure out the issue better!
I faced a similar problem, and it turned out to be fluff stuck in the USB port! You can try cleaning it out with something non-metallic, like a fine bristle or a sliver of plastic. Just be careful not to damage anything inside. Also, too much plugging and unplugging can damage the USB port contacts. If it continues, a local phone repair shop could help sort it out.
Thanks! I'll see if I can get it checked out and take a look at the port.
If your phone is stopping at weird battery percentages, it could be a sign that the battery is wearing out. But without knowing your phone's specifics, it's just a guess.

It's a Vivo Y16; I got it earlier this year, so it's still kind of new.
