I'm interested in making the jump to Linux after seeing PewDiePie's video, but I'm primarily a gamer. I'm curious about what works and what doesn't—stuff like Discord, games, and browsers. Any advice or recommendations for guides or videos would be really helpful!

Gaming on Linux has come a long way, especially with tools like Proton and the Steam Deck. However, if you're into competitive gaming, be mindful that many games with anti-cheat systems often don't work on Linux because developers choose to restrict them. If you're mostly gaming, Windows might still be the better option unless you enjoy tinkering with your setup. If you have an old laptop lying around that you don’t use for gaming, that could be a fun project for Linux.
Discord is great on Linux, and so are most web browsers. For gaming, you'll need to check each title individually to see if it runs smoothly. If you find your favorite game doesn't work, you could always dual boot with Windows to keep your options open!
If gaming is your main focus, I'd recommend sticking with Windows for now. While many browsers work well on Linux, games can be hit or miss. Just keep in mind that if there’s a game you can’t live without, you might end up needing both systems to get the best of both worlds.
Exactly! If gaming isn’t your top priority, Linux can really shine, especially for general use.
