After a recent power outage, I'm having trouble connecting to the internet through an ethernet cable. The ethernet port on my PC indicates that it's connected, but I'm not able to access the internet. I've tried reinstalling the network adapters and used the commands 'ipconfig /release' and 'ipconfig /renew' to see if that would fix the problem. My ethernet is hooked up to a TP-Link repeater, and I've checked the app to reboot it, but so far, nothing has worked. Can anyone help me figure out what else I can try?

Just a heads up, having your PC connected to the repeater via ethernet is still a wireless connection. It’s possible that the power outage affected your repeater or router rather than your PC directly. Definitely try connecting your PC straight to the main router—it'll help narrow down the problem. Make sure the repeater has a stable connection to your router too!
You might want to run the command 'ipconfig /all' and post the results. It can give more insights into what's going wrong.
Check your network settings under 'Network & Internet' and look for 'Advanced network settings'. There’s an option to 'Reset network'—giving that a try might solve the issue. Just remember that it will reset your network adapters.
Have you tried restarting all your network hardware? Sometimes the PC may connect to your router or repeater just fine, but they might not be hooked up to the internet itself. A good reboot could fix this issue.

I've tried rebooting the router and modem a bunch of times, but it hasn't made a difference.
