Hey everyone! I'm diving into PC building for the first time and I'd love to get your insights on the components I've selected before I spend my hard-earned cash. I'm fairly new to this and only have basic knowledge, so any feedback would mean a lot. My goal is to play mostly AAA games at 1440p. Here's what I've picked out so far:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Cooler: MSI CoreLiquid E360
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle WiFi7 ICE
- RAM: Crucial Pro Overclocking 2x16GB
- GPU: Swift 9070 (non-XT)
- Case: MSI MAG PANO 100R
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 1TB
- PSU: Lian Li Edge Gold 850W
- Monitor: MSI MAG QD-OLED 34" Ultrawide 175Hz with Desktronik monitor arms
I also have around $250 budgeted for a keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, and some games. Let me know if you think I should change anything!

Overall, your build looks pretty solid and everything should work well together! However, I'd need to know the prices for these components before making any suggestions. I’m guessing you’re aiming for a white aesthetic considering the motherboard choice?
The 7800X3D draws around 60 watts while gaming, which means a budget cooler like the Peerless Assassin could work just fine for you. But if you prefer liquid cooling, that's totally valid! It looks way nicer than traditional fans, and it’s great you want to match it with the pre-installed fans in your case since aesthetics are important for you.
I totally agree! I just didn’t want to go with any random AIO cooler since I’m focused on keeping it visually cohesive.

Thanks for your input! Yes, I’m definitely going for a whiteout theme since it’ll fit my setup better. The whole build, including the monitor, is around $2500 on PC Part Picker.
