I'm upgrading my old PC to give it to my parents, but it lacks WiFi capability since I always used an Ethernet connection. I'm using an Asus Strix B350-F motherboard with an AMD 5800X3D CPU. Since my router is a TP-Link BE550 Pro and the PC will be about 30 feet away with one wall in between, I'm looking for a good WiFi card that will ensure a stable connection. I've seen some options like the GIGABYTE WiFi 6E GC-WBAX210 and the MSI Herald-BE WiFi 7 MAX, but I'm open to more recommendations. What do you think?

What are your parents going to use the PC for? If it's just basic browsing, a WiFi 6 or even 6E card should be more than enough. Unless they're doing high-bandwidth tasks or gaming over WiFi, you probably won't need a WiFi 7 card. Also, consider your home internet speed—if it's above gigabit speeds, then sure, go for WiFi 7; otherwise, a more budget-friendly option might do well.
I've heard the GIGABYTE WiFi 7 card is around $50 and performs better than both your options. Just be sure to check the version you get since they can ship with different chipsets that affect performance.
Yeah, just be cautious with that one. Depending on the revision, it might come with a not-so-great MediaTek chip. The MSI card usually has the better Qualcomm chipset. You might want to stick with a reliable older AX210 card if you can.

Yeah, no gaming here—just casual browsing on a 1.5Gbps plan. I planned to keep the budget for the WiFi card around $50, which is why I'm looking.
