I'm in the process of building my first PC and could use some help! Here's what I have in mind so far: I want to stick to a budget of around 1000€. I've chosen the following components:
- Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX motherboard
- RX 9060XT 16GB graphics card
- RYZEN 5 7500X3D processor (still debating this one, but it looks cool)
- 2x8GB RAM (I plan to upgrade later)
- Crucial T700 1TB SSD
I feel like I might need to reevaluate my choices though. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you checked the prices on those components in your local area? It seems like you might already be pushing your budget.
For sure, you might want to reconsider that GPU choice.
You're off to a decent start, but it feels a little unbalanced. The motherboard choice is fine, but maybe opt for the 7600 instead of the 7500X3D unless the prices are similar. Also, 16GB of RAM isn’t enough anymore; I'd suggest going for 32GB now. The T700 SSD is probably overkill for gaming, so you could reallocate some of that budget into a better GPU or more RAM. Overall, shifting your funds around could really improve your build!
I was thinking of using an SSD that takes advantage of the PCIe 5.0 on my motherboard to store my OS and games, while using a larger, budget-friendly HDD for everything else. As for the CPU, I thought having the 3D cache would be beneficial, but with this budget, I can't swing a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Got any suggestions for a power supply and other essentials?
Great ideas! I’m definitely considering a solid PSU to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Yeah, the GPU and CPU alone might hit your limit. I found the CPU for about 200€ (even the 7600X3D) and the GPU around 400€ if I can't find a decent used one. Any alternatives to the 9060XT that are good but cheaper?
