Hey there! I've been using Mailgun to send transactional emails for some time now without any major problems. Lately, though, I've encountered a frustrating issue. Emails to customers, especially those with live.com or yahoo.com addresses, often fail because my sending IP gets blocked. Each time this happens, I have to contact Mailgun and they tell me that another user is abusing their emails, resulting in our shared IP being blacklisted. This cycle forces me to wait for a new IP address, which only solves the problem temporarily until it repeats. I'm interested in finding a Mailgun alternative that offers high email deliverability and a dedicated IP address for a reasonable monthly fee. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sendgrid does have a dedicated IP option and it's fairly priced. However, I opted for a self-hosted solution called Postal, and it’s been fantastic! If you handle incoming emails too, Postal could be the perfect fit for you. You can check it out here: https://docs.postalserver.io/.
I've found that Porkbun is great for domains and mailing. It has its own control panel and a solid setup without issues. Just so you know, they don’t support mass mailing. For that, you might want to look at Google Workspace, but their services aren't ideal for bulk emails either—not quite what you need for this scenario!
Just a heads up, both Yahoo and Live have strict policies against too many connections, which can get your IP banned pretty quickly. We've tried slowing down our sending rate, but they don’t seem to allow legitimate senders much room. We eventually just blocked users from those domains and suggested they find alternative email providers.
We've had similar troubles with Mailgun in the past. The best step is to request a dedicated IP, but we had a nightmare getting ours set up. Our first two dedicated IPs were blacklisted and when we asked for a third, communication just faded away. Now, we're using Sendgrid with a dedicated IP, and it's been much smoother. Just keep in mind, getting banned can still happen pretty quickly, even before you send a single email. Other services can be just as bad; one banned us after sending only 200 password resets and said we violated their terms. Support can be a total dead end.
Yeah, Google Workspace also doesn't allow mass emailing. If you need that kind of capability, a dedicated email service is the way to go.
