I'm looking to buy a Clicks Power Keyboard that attaches to the back of my iPhone 15 Pro Max using MagSafe. It seems to function as both a physical keyboard and a wireless charger, but I'm a bit confused about how MagSafe really works, especially when it comes to cases. I know my iPhone supports MagSafe, but only when it's case-less. I've heard there are also MagSafe cases available. Here's what I'm trying to understand:
1) What's the difference between using MagSafe with a case versus without one?
2) How can a MagSafe case allow for wireless charging if it doesn't connect directly to the USB port? I get that MagSafe involves magnets, but how do they work through the case?
3) Why is it important for the case to be labeled as 'MagSafe' if my iPhone already has MagSafe built in?

MagSafe cases are specially designed not to mess with wireless charging. They either avoid interference with the magnets or actually boost it. The charging goes through the case thanks to inductive charging. There’s no need for a physical connection, and your keyboard probably uses magnets to hold itself in place while connecting via Bluetooth to send data.
Using MagSafe with a compatible case feels about the same as using it without one. The main thing is that MagSafe cases have magnets built in, so they won’t interfere with the charging process. Magnets need to be strong enough to work through the case, which is why regular cases won’t do the job as well. MagSafe itself is basically a mix of magnets and Qi wireless charging, so that’s why it can work for charging.

It's pretty wild, right? The concept of a case that helps with wireless charging is fascinating, especially knowing it's safe and designed not to melt. It's amazing how technology works these days!
