Hey everyone! I need help finding a KVM switch that can handle dual monitors for my setup. I'm running two 1440p monitors—one is 240Hz with G-Sync and the other is 165Hz. I want to connect my gaming PC and my work laptop, but I'm struggling to find a switch that supports 1440p at 240Hz without throttling the refresh rates. Most options I see only go up to 120Hz or don't support dual monitors. Has anyone had success with a setup like this? Any budget-friendly recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

If keeping the high refresh rate is important to you and you want to save some money, consider just connecting both computers directly to the monitors and switching inputs manually on the monitors. It’s straightforward and avoids any issues with KVMs.
Yep, this is what I did too! I added a USB switch to toggle between my gaming rig and work laptop.
You might want to consider that no KVM solution will perfectly match your needs for high refresh rates. It's often better to use a monitor with built-in KVM support that switches both the display input and the USB ports easily.
That's really interesting, I hadn’t thought about that option.
Why do you think that? I’ve been using a KVM with my two 1440p/144Hz monitors and can’t tell any difference compared to directly connecting them.

Totally agree, that's the way to go!
