Why Does My Laptop Keep Restarting After a Few Minutes?

I'm having some issues with my Windows laptop. Whenever I turn it on and start playing a game, it runs for about 15 minutes before shutting down. A CMD window pops up quickly, followed by a notification saying, "you will be logged off in less than a minute." Then, my laptop restarts on its own. This has happened with different games too. What can I do to fix this?

Have you checked for any malware using your antivirus software? It’s also a good idea to run a scan for any corrupted files with the command 'sfc /scannow'. Sometimes, problems can arise from downloading things from sketchy sites. Just a thought!

I did run a scan and it came back clean, and I haven't downloaded anything suspicious.

You might want to check the Event Viewer to see if it logs anything specific about restarts. Look for system events that say something like 'System restart event triggered by...'. It could give you more clues about what's going wrong.

I found a log that says it tried to restart due to "title could not be found" with code 0x800000ff.
