I'm a complete newbie and trying to boot Ubuntu from a USB drive on my Chromebook Samsung Go. Unfortunately, it's not letting me, even when I switch to developer mode. Can anyone offer some assistance?

It sounds like your Chromebook might not be able to read the bootable USB you created. Have you tried reformatting the USB or using a different tool to make it bootable? Sometimes the method you used can make all the difference with Chromebooks.
