Hey everyone! I'm looking to smoothly dive into coding as I aspire to be a game developer. I already have some knowledge of Python, like creating math functions, quizzes, and timers. However, I've wanted to learn GDScript for quite a while now. Unfortunately, every course I've come across, including the beginner guides, just doesn't seem "complete" for me. This has led to some burnout. Any tips on how to learn coding without losing interest?

Focus on creating the game you’re passionate about! Your initial code might not be perfect, but as you learn, going back to refine it will help reinforce your new skills. If you just stick to generic guides without any personal investment, it’s easy to lose motivation. Make something you truly want to build and you’ll stay engaged longer!
Try to finish one project instead of hopping between different frameworks. A lot of people overwhelm themselves by trying to learn multiple languages at once, which can definitely lead to burnout. Pick one and stick with it until you feel satisfied!
I get that feeling! To really understand GDScript, try using the official documentation. It can provide clear insights and help fill in the gaps you feel exist in other courses.
When you say the courses feel "incomplete," what does that mean to you? Are there specific areas you feel aren’t being covered?
