I'm facing an issue where my AWS account is unable to create any EC2 instances or Fargate deployments. My quotas for these services are showing as 0, and I've been trying to reach out to AWS Support for the past 48 hours, but my ticket remains unassigned. The only potential reason I can think of for this situation is that I was a little late on a couple of small bills last year, but I've set up autopay since then and have been on time ever since. I really just want access to deploy some low-value EC2 or ECS clusters. Oh, and I've also completed my KYC to avoid any issues. Is there anything I can do to resolve this quickly?

Hey! That sounds really frustrating. First off, sorry to hear about the delays with support. If you're trying to spin up t3 instances and still hitting these quotas, maybe your account just needs some quota adjustments. Some instance types have a default allowance of 0, especially the G instances. If support isn't responding soon, you might want to consider creating a new account, but I get that it can be a hassle, especially with your existing S3 data and costs. Hang in there, and I hope it gets sorted quickly!
I totally understand the pain of dealing with account issues. It's really weird that you're having this problem even for free-tier instances. Since you're paying for S3 and have important data, moving to a new account could be a real headache. Instead, keep pushing support for a quicker response on your ticket; it’s crucial to get that resolved. You did the right thing with KYC and autopay! Good luck!
