I've run into a frustrating problem with my display after trying to boot in Safe Mode on Windows 11. I used msconfig to enable Safe Mode, but now when I restart, my monitor shows "No Signal - Entering power saving mode shortly," and I can't see anything on the screen—no BIOS splash, no logos, absolutely nothing. Here's what I'm working with:
- Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Carbon WiFi
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- Monitor: LG 27GL83A-B (using both DisplayPort and HDMI)
I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps that I found online, like checking the cable connection, switching ports, and pressing various BIOS hotkeys (like f2, f10, del, etc.). I even tried the Win+Ctrl+Shift+B combo, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

It sounds like your GPU might not be initializing correctly since you aren't even seeing the BIOS. Try reseating your graphics card first. If that doesn’t work and if your CPU has integrated graphics, switch to that temporarily to access Windows and change the Safe Mode setting back.
Just so you know, I had a similar issue. Sometimes a faulty cable can cause this. After trying many solutions, I replaced my cable, and it worked like a charm. Did you try a different brand new display port cable? Did it help?
I did get a brand new DisplayPort cable, but unfortunately, it didn’t change anything. Still stuck with the same no signal issue.

I tried reseating the GPU, but it didn't help—still getting that 'no signal' message.
