I'm new to building PCs and I'm looking to upgrade my current setup. I've got my eye on the Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU, and I'm considering pairing it with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM. Is this a good combination for gaming and general performance?

There’s always some level of bottleneck, it’s just a part of tech. The key is making sure you achieve the performance you want. The 7800X3D could even handle an RTX 5090, so you have plenty of room for future upgrades.
Yeah, that combo should work just fine! But it really depends on your monitor and the games you play. You might get better overall gaming performance if you go for a slightly cheaper CPU like the Ryzen 7500F, 7600(X), or 9600X alongside a Radeon 9070 or 9070 XT instead.
Not a chance, this isn't a joke! The Ryzen 7800X3D is a top-tier gaming CPU and will handle the 9060 XT easily. If it were me, I'd maybe consider downgrading to a 7700X or 7600X3D, then use the extra cash to grab a better GPU.
Lol, bottlenecks are just a reality of PCs. So long as your rig meets your needs, you’re good! If you start feeling the pressure, you can always upgrade the part that's holding you back.
You’ve got upgrade options for sure. That said, you might find your GPU bottlenecking performance a bit. Someone suggested going for a cheaper CPU and a 9070, and I agree with that. Overspending on the CPU is a trap unless you primarily play competitive games.
